The food are decent but the price is a bit high for the quantity they serve. The place is busy, I suggest to call for a reservation. By the way, they do not have a sushi chef at the moment , so no sushi until further notice .

There aren't very many authentic Japanese-owned restaurants in the Orlando area (Hanamizuki, Sushi Tomi, and...?), so I'm really grateful this spot is here. They currently weren't serving sushi, which is fine by me, because they have plenty of great dishes that are hard to find anywhere else in town. What we ordered this time (I'm sure I'm forgetting a few things): * Tatsuta age (potato-starch fried chicken) * Kaki-fry (tonkatsu-fried large oysters) * Gyoza (pork potstickers) * Curry rice with pork * Gyu-don (thin-sliced beef and onion in a rice bowl) * Sukiyaki (A5 beef imported from Kagoshima and veggie hot pot with raw egg for dipping) Everything was great, staff are all great. Food's good. Just go here if you want real Japanese food.

After a long day, we met up with some friends here to catch up and get good food. We were greeted quickly and they served us our drinks pretty quickly. Depending on your food order, you can choose to do it yourself or have someone make it for you. We opted for ourselves since we've done it before but a couple of our friends had a worker make it for them for the experience. It's a cozy venue. Not too loud, and easy to find.

Japanese food lover and ramen enthusiast. Near my hotel and had great Yelp reviews. Found the establishment is Japanese owned and now run by the original owner's son. Huge menu. Everything sounds good. Wish I could eat it all. Atmosphere is traditional Japanese style and quiet. Was treated well with friendly service and great at answering all my inquisitive questions. Ordered the Gyokai Shoyu Ramen and WOW! packed full of wonderful flavor and full of great toppings as is off the menu. Started with Yasai salad and finished with matcha ice cream. All were good. If looking for great Japanese food, sushi, ramen, and oooo so many more options. Stop by Hanamizuki.

We're so glad to have stumbled upon this gem. The ambiance is simple but clean, the staff is friendly, and food is yummy. My husband particularly commented on how authentic the Japanese katsu curry tasted. The miso ramen broth was very salty, so I hope they cut the salt down by at least half.

I love the atmosphere walking into the restaurant. This place really reminds me of Japan and their Oolong Tea really hit the spot for me since it's so good and refreshing. Their toro and salmon nigiri is so fresh and delicious. The tamago tasted a bit old and plain. Their sushi roll shrimp tempura is super crunchy and spicy tuna is fresh. The gyoza tasted good (4/5). The niku udon broth had a great umami flavor and the udon has a great consistency (wasn't too hard). Tempura soba is delicious and the broth warm the soul. I would recommend tempura udon, but the soba still tastes very refreshing with the hot broth. The soba noodles tasted really good. Although, soba noodles is easy to make, but the cold soup blend so well with the refreshing soba. The tempura is perfect battered, once you dip it into the cold broth, it's so perfect. The closest I can get to Japan. Also, amazing service!

Want Japanese food? Like real traditional Japanese food. This is the place in Orlando. The family and I found this place a couple of years ago, and pretty much visited every day. We were in Daytona and did a day trip to Disney Springs to finish off with a nice dinner here for some comfort food. Glad to see they haven't changed and quality is the same. Service is always great. Ambience is Japanese-esque.
